President of France appreciates Ralph Lauren

Ralph Lauren receives the Chevalier de la Legion d`Honneur in recognition of his contributions as a designer, business leader and philanthropist in the fight against cancer. The honor was presented to him in Paris by Nicolas Sarkozy, President of France, as a token of appreciation for his outstanding career and his philanthropic activities and interest in France. After receiving the Legion d`Honneur, Mr. Lauren was hosted by the U.S. Ambassador, Mr. Charles H. Rivkin and his wife Mrs. Susan Tolson, at the U.S. Ambassador`s residence in Paris for a private dinner.
