MANGO opens first store in Corso Vittorio Emanuele II
MANGO, Spain`s most international fashion brand, opens its new flagship store in Milan on 27 March, at number 24-28 of the emblematic commercial street Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. This store will be MANGO`s 28th in the Italian market. With this project, MANGO reflects its commitment towards the Italian market, a priority for the brand, given its importance within the fashion market. Between 2008 and 2009, MANGO increased its turnover by 23% and opened 6 new stores during this same period. The store has 775 m² of selling space and 150 m² of stockroom space. The project, which has been designed by MANGO`s Interior Design team led by Damián Sánchez, Creative Director and Board Member Partner of the brand, is distributed over three floors, two of them dedicated to women`s wear and one to the menswear range H.E. by MANGO. The concept of the store is minimalist and combines all its elements in the same tone of grey: floors, ceiling, furniture and illumination structures. To give the store a fresh and elegant touch, the walls are covered in natural wood panels. Daniel López, Real Estate Manager and Deputy General Manager, said: This opening is of great importance to MANGO, as it reflects the commitment of the brand with the Italian market. Having a new flagship store in an excellent location like Corso Vittorio Emanuele II in Milan was always a priority. It will mean a better presence and visibility of MANGO in Italy. With this new opening, MANGO now has 28 stores in the following locations: Agrigento, Alghero, Aosta, Bergamo, Bolzano, Brescia, Cagliari, Caserta, Florence, Genoa, Mestre, Milan, Naples, Padua, Palermo, Quartu, Rome, San Remo, Treviso, Turin, Udine, Varese and Venice.
