Malcolm Ladson honored for excellence in fashion design

Malcolm T. Ladson, Outerwear Designer for G-III Apparel Group, has been recognized by Cambridge Who`s Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in fashion design. Calvin Klein, Sean John, Jessica Simpson, Tommy Hilfiger and Kenneth Cole - these are just a few of the licensed outerwear contracts held by the New York-based G-III Apparel Group. Recognized as one of the world`s premier manufacturers of sportswear, women`s suits, dresses and leather outerwear, G-III is staffed with some of the most talented designers the industry has to offer. Now celebrating his 10th year with the company, Malcolm T. Ladson excels in his position as an innovative and cutting edge sports outwear designer for G-III. Mr. Ladson graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1993 with a bachelor of arts in toy design. Following his commencement, he recalls wanting to try his hand in a different avenue of design, and developed an interest in outerwear. This interest, he says, laid the foundation for his career with G-III Apparel Group. A licensed sports outerwear designer, Mr. Ladson also holds an associate degree in advertising from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
